FACILITY UPDATES

WESLEY CABINS: A FOND FAREWELL AND A FRESH START
Change is part of growth — and this month, we said goodbye to several of our Wesley Cabins (5, 6, 7, and 10). These cabins have served thousands of campers and guests over the years, including generations of Fish Camp students. While it’s bittersweet to see them go, we’re excited to be clearing space for future plans that will help Lakeview continue to serve with excellence for years to come.

NEW FUN UNDER THE SUN!
The Jump Pillow has got even better! A brand-new shade structure now covers the area, giving campers a cool and comfortable place to play — no matter how bright the Texas sun gets.
This upgrade adds to the laughter-filled energy that makes the Jump Pillow one of Lakeview’s most popular spots. We’re thrilled to see campers enjoying this space safely and comfortably all season long!

THUNDER BRIDGE: REPAIR AND RENEWAL
One of Lakeview’s most familiar landmarks, Thunder Bridge, is getting some much-needed attention! Our team has been hard at work repairing and reinforcing the bridge to ensure it remains safe and welcoming for years to come. These improvements are part of our ongoing effort to care for the spaces that make Lakeview so special — places where campers laugh, connect, and reflect.
We’re grateful for the hands and hearts making this work possible, and we can’t wait for everyone to cross Thunder Bridge again soon!

PROGRESS IN MOTION: DIRT WORK AND CLEARING
Progress isn’t always glamorous — sometimes it’s downright dirty! You may not notice it right away when you arrive, but all the land clearing and dirt work happening across campus is paving the way for great things ahead. Every load of soil and cleared space helps prepare Lakeview for the next season of growth and ministry.
MEET THE TEAM
Welcome, Charles Fish, Director of Finance!
Help us welcome Charles Fisk, Lakeview’s new Director of Finance! Charles brings with him 33 years of federal government service experience and a deep commitment to stewardship and excellence. After retiring (for the second time!), he felt called to come out of retirement once more to serve at Lakeview.
In his interview with Josh, Charles shares what drew him to Lakeview and how he’s looking forward to contributing to our mission of transforming lives through meaningful relationships and gracious hospitality. Watch the full interview below!
MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

STAINING THE TARGET SPORTS STRUCTURES
Looking for a hands-on way to serve? Our Target Sports area is ready for a little TLC! The pressure-treated wood on our archery and axe throwing structures has been seasoned and is now ready for staining — and we’d love your help.
Whether you come as an individual or bring a group, this is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, enjoy the outdoors, and make a lasting impact on a space that so many campers enjoy. Supplies can be provided — all we need are willing hearts and helping hands!
SHARE YOUR LAKEVIEW STORY!
We love hearing how Lakeview has impacted your life, and now it’s easier than ever to share your experience! You can now submit testimonials and feedback directly through our website, helping us spread the word and invite even more people to fall in love with Lakeview.
If you feel comfortable, we greatly appreciate video testimonials—your stories bring Lakeview to life in a way that words alone cannot. Whether it’s a favorite memory, a life-changing moment, or what keeps bringing you back, your voice can inspire future campers, families, and guests.
Thank you for being part of the Lakeview family—we can’t wait to hear from you!
